Congratulations and a hearty "Well done!" to Roht (aka NRRB), our IDT XIII champion!
This, our thirteenth tournament, was voted on by our fellow members to be in teams of 2 vs 2 and included the use of items. Many strong masters competed, and each round had its excitements, upsets, and triumphs. The dojo rang with the anguished cries of the defeated, the air full of the sweet taste of victory. When the dust cleared, the very final battle came down to LOoT vs LOoT-- Clan Leader Squamph verses his "Corinthian Beneficiary" Roht.



For the second tournament in a row, a member of LOoT has been our esteemed champion. Roht's unstoppable Rocky and Demon Winks were a solid wall at which other dinoz threw themselves, to their ultimate demise. We contacted Roht to hear his thoughts about his dinoz team and what it was like to defeat his clan leader and mentor in the tournament:

“First of all I'm sure I am one of those IDT winner's who didn't expect to win the IDT at all! It was a surprise for me to get to the final stage and to be honest I was spamming on forum after each match for help!! "How do I win the next one?" I thought of diferent strategies, diferent dinos... and came to the conclusion that the best team I have is my rock Corinthian (this one is a special gift from a great friend and awesome clan leader SQUAMPH) and my dwinks Titan an electro bubble lightning crazy winks.

I was preparing for every match very cautiously, looking at my opponent's previous matches, equipping diferent items in order to surprise my opponents, Chen's items and BEER helped me a lot, oh and not to forget I was always asking for advise from higher ranked players with more experience then myslef (SQUAMPH, sjefke, patilancho, epoxy, Rjun74, druid, jeno, lolwhut and many others...)

The toughest fight I had was in the final. It was hard first of all because I was facing one of the BEST players from DinoRPG, and it felt really bad to fight Squamph with one of his own dinos. It still does!
Final words? Try to have patience, try to not rush things, think everything over twice before doing it, and do NOT be HYPERACTIVE ........> like ME!”
