There's been a lot happening since we launched Galaxy 55, our minecraft-like adventure in space! For those of you who like to hear about all the new stuff, here's a 90 second video explaining what's been going on in Alpha II. Next step... interstellar travel? Try another browser/another PC. I don't have any lag..

Downloading wouldn't help. The game is designed as multiplayer (despite not having any player interaction yet) so all action needs to be done on server.

I use WASD and can press F and E with my pointer. I use my thumb on the spacebar to jump, and use my right hand for the mouse.

Gaming Style

Left hand: W, A, S, D (E, S, D, F in my case) for primary movement. Pinky and ring finger on forward and left strafe; fingers spread out for additional buttons.

Right hand: Ring finger/pinky hover just bellow space, middle finger on mouse pad, index on left click also operates right click for optimal aiming control.

Ah... You could always plug in a USB keyboard and be über-nerdy ;3

And I only touch the mouse when I'm interacting with kubes...

Right hand on either arrow keys or mouse, left hand on spacebar or E. I usually don't play games that use WASD control, so I'm an anomaly

Not to be whiny, but they feel awkward from a gamer's point of view. :wink:

If those are also broken, have you tried buying a new keyboard I use a laptop. :P

I went and tried it out and it wasn't too bad.
Probably should of done that before I defended/insulted it. :P Somethings I wish for is:
:hordes_*: Better mouse recognition so I don't have to keep readjusting my mouse. (Probably already being worked on :wink:)
:hordes_*: Changeable controls. My "W" and "A" keys broke off and the stumps are so freggin' painful when I have to hold down the key to move. :'(
:hordes_*: As it updates, it'll definitely need to pull away from it's Minecraft father. (Hopefully without the emo, "I'm never going to talk to you again and I'm moving in with my metal band", stage. -_-)
