The state of emergency has finally been lifted, the last few zombies have been removed from the server room with excessive use of hammers, axes, and profanity. No data was harmed in the process. Die2Nite servers will no longer be subjected to things going bump in the night, and citizens will once more be able to log in to the site whenever they so wish!
As of monday evening, town gates will no longer be closed automatically! 
...so don't forget to close them before you go to bed...
The buzz surrounding this piece of good news has lifted the spirits of even the most battle-weary citizens, you feel the heart of a Hero beating within you, and for good reason - after the gates no longer lock automatically, everyone will be a hero!

its ok Epoq we will find a way to clash against your titans! so far we are thinking a day late or all jump as the under loved shamans [no real bonus with no deaths] and then convert back to residents . |

and you've put some sort of protection in place for checking the citizens joining the clash are actually heros? if the timing matches, and everyone is a hero for at least 2 days, might be quite tricky to try to check souls for hero status pre-clash.... |

2 free hero days is an attempt to kill off the Citizen revolution that was going to out clash the clash, we cant jump a resident town if they make us all heroes. |
