Dinoz Masters

Please pray silence for His Majesty, the King of Dinoland.

Loyal subjects, the gauntlet has been thrown down by both the German and Spanish servers, in the mistaken belief that they are better huntsmen and women than the elite masters here present on our glorious server.

We have no choice but to show them that we are indeed the most powerful.

I wish you good luck and Godspeed.

We're going for gold!

This friday the 10th of August as of 16h00 (server time), and for the next 12 days, the 3 communities will hunt Dark World monsters throughout Dinoland. To Death or Glory!

The top 3 international hunters irrespective of server will take the glory, titles, and...

:drpg_neutre: 1st Place: The Gold Dinolympic hunting medal, 3 Napodinoz & 150 Treasury Notes
:drpg_neutre: 2nd Place: The Silver Dinolympic hunting medal, 2 Napodinoz & 150 Treasury Notes
:drpg_neutre: 3rd Place: The Bronze Dinolympic hunting medal, 2 Napodinoz & 50 Treasury Notes

Furthermore, the top hunters on this server will win:

:drpg_neutre: 2nd - 5th place: 1 Feross Egg + 10 Treasury Notes + Dinolympics Participation Medal & Title.

That's pretty weird. Are you sure you didn't get it?

Remember you get the warm breads right after you get 1000 points, NOT after the end of the event.

Yes, I knew I was coming to 1000pts, so I emptied 2 slots of Warm Bread. After the notice "Congrats, you won 2 breads.. etc" I checked but I had still the 8 breads I already had before.
So I thought that maybe prizes were awarded after the end of Monster Hunt (although Irma's potions were given instantly, so it was not much probable..).

Anyway, it seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

That thread has a title that took discussion off topic. It should have been Items lost when auction closedand it was not about "overstocking at market".

What is not solved is the real issue as posted in that thread see here and it has to do with lost items even though the inventory was not full when the auction was closed. I reported to Epoq, he replied next day but despite reminders I have not heard since from anyone at MT.

There may still be a chance you lose items when auction closed even if you are under the maximum inventory when you close the auction.

I sent a PM to Epoq talking about that and he said that there aren't any bug with MH prizes... :tid_sad:

After Epoq's answer, i think that this problem is related to the inventory limit bug (mentioned in this topic).

I recieved the 2 warm breads, since I got none, having two suddenly appear means I really won them through MH. And also it's you who think it's related to that non-problem since it's already solved.

ZenNukshuk (On 26 August 2012)

why was that topic closed if the matter was not resolved?

RafaelSS
RafaelSS (On 26 August 2012)

Well, I do not have them in my inventory. I waited for some days but they did not appear.
That happened to me too.
I hadn't received the 2 breads from 1000pts and 1500pts. I'm pretty sure because i had exactly 13 breads (just waiting to fill the 2 remaining spot).

During Dinolympic Games I reached 1.000pts and appeared the notice "Congratulations, your bravery granted you 2 items Authentic Warm Bread", or something like that.
Well, I do not have them in my inventory. I waited for some days but they did not appear.

Is there a way to solve this (little) problem?
Thank you.

I've seen that the Spanish player K750i got a participating medal and a silver medal - in Twinoid!!

I thought that the reward will be something like an epic item, but it seems to be I was wrong..

as I recall,
prior hunts also had people saying we should look at the rankings page for accurate details on timing

we all know MT has more to do than people or time to do it :kk_classement_down: :kk_piou::kk_kanji::kk_lili:
so at least we have 1 place we know we can get the info for this kind of event ;)

SoagAfihn
SoagAfihn (On 23 August 2012)

Bengeldorn, Loxagon, seems I was blind or something ^^.
But was it the same in previous hunts? I always based my information on what was written in the news and that wasn't accurate - just as Condordog and Rcaasi wrote.

Seems I got my lesson to double check their info but it'd be really nice to have the precise information ;).

well, it seems that we got our prize for the Olympic Monster Hunt - except for the epic items?

I'm very curious about how the Olympic medals look like... :)

SoagAfihnNext time when we have a MH event I'd like to see a precise ending date.
From my calculations it should be 22nd 16:00, not 21st 16:00...
Because of that i missed the napo. Maybe I did something wrong, then prove me wrong but I know I'm not the only person and the precise ending date would prevent it.
Thanks in advance.

MT should do be more accurate and consistent in the end date.

updates page said it will end at August22
rankings page said it will end at August21

I'm also near to missing my napo. I ran out of gold and I'm just waiting for my auction to end. luckily, my auction finished at approximately 14h August 21.

If players like Pyxel didn't spend so much, there'd be no game for you to play.

OR, Mt would actually try harder than this to make players pay.

Lol who would really pay that much for that.
Some nerd must have payed alot for the virtual prize.

the answer to this exact question on end time and date is in this thread about 3 pages back, 3 days ago, at top of page
see here

Well technically it only ran 11 days, not 12, so I can see the point to this argument. :tid_clink:
The event existed for 12 days, but only ran 11 if you count by hours.

It did however say the 21st was the end date on the results page so... it is what it is.

The end date/time of the MH was shown on top of the monster hunt ranking page. As this was part of the event coding its probably the best place to look at in the future. Sure, the admins can override event parameters, but usually an unclear (or even wrong) announcement is more probable than that happening.

The ending was the entire time visible on the raning page for the Monster Hunt.
