Hello everybody,

As you may have noticed, Galaxy 55 hasn't been moving forward for a while now. We have therefore decided to shut it down for an undefined period (yes, I'm afraid it's true) starting on the 15th of February 2013.

We will use the downtime to put some serious work in to the project so that we can either give you the whole adventure we dreamt of delivering or to at least make the project more finished and in a state in which we don't blush when we look at it!

In any case, we cannot guarantee the condition in which you'll find your planets after the shutdown which could last several months.

Many apologies, but we wish you good gaming in the meantime, and we'll see you soon!

Following your excellent advances in exploring the galaxy, ESCORP has decided that Galaxy 55 is ready for exploitation. The corporation has since established a network of storage warehouses and an intergalactic market in order to accelerate exploitation.

ESCORP is offering several free services (conditions of use subject to sudden change).

- Secure permanent storage.
- A market built for rapid exchanges.
- Contracts will be offered regularly allowing you to make your fortune.

Happy exploitation! Don't forget, on every planet fortune could smile upon you!

Mr_Hk_, Deepnight, Bumdum, Warp et Kiroukou are of course members of
the Motion-Twin team, the guys who made Twinoid. We also had some guests!

Valandre, 01101101 and Carduus are some friends that came to join us.
Together they make PrAcTeam, another cool independent studio !

Mathzic (M. Hallouin) is a friend of PrAcTeam who makes great music!

Reuno, Kuru and Abe also work in the video game universe,
you'll find details on each of them in the intro for "The Balance".

You can now share your planetary licences with other players. They can then come to your planet and explore and build with you.

To make the magic happen, simply press T and you can chat to all your friends on the planet to discuss strategy and communicate more effectively.

We appreciate your patience with regard to any technical problems and specific models for the explorers. We are working on that right now, and will soon have even more new content and updates for your favourite Alpha

Yes we know we are late, but we lost Epoq somewhere in space during this new adventure... Wait a moment! We have a message from him... Thanks Franz24 for decoding it!

Our exploration began when we realised that we could take off using the Ship's Computer! This means we can explore new solar systems and planets. Only one sector is available at the moment, but engine technology is improving - others should be available soon!

It was a shock when we fell into the water at first! There are now real underwater worlds that can be explored! Be careful not to end up drowning though, it would be a shame to spoil a great vacation.

During our explorations, we have discovered three new types of planets over and above the two we knew already. And that's not all: newly discovered planets are sometimes sprinkled with surprises... amazing!

According to our flora and fauna expert, over a hundred new Kubes can be discovered! We're starting to wonder whether a chest to store all this would be practical...

We found some beautiful waterfalls and lava, which we could even bring home. Be careful not to burn in the lava (or not to drown in a waterfall, but that should really be st...)

You can even send pictures of your planets to your friends!

Exploration, which is at the core of Galaxy 55's gameplay, is going to be available for all our players really soon! As a sneak-peek, we thought we'd show you 2 exclusive images provided by the team!

As you can see, your ship that you constructed in your hangar, will be well and truly present during your interplanetary travels.
