if you plant an employee to look after a client does it give an extra satisfaction bonus to the client?
Or does it have any other functions?
It gives you the chance to give an extra satisfaction point. You can increase your chances with the Doctor Feelgood update.
Is this service also redundant if the client already received an extra satisfaction point from room service.
You know, like a welcome pack is redundant if the client already received a satisfaction point from room service.

No.

No.
Alright then this may be closed.
Thanks for the answers.
Just be aware that the employee/dogsbody satisfaction boost is not a guarantee. There are Lab options which improve the odds, but still do not give a 100% chance.
.
Without the Lab boost (or even with it), it's probably better to have the dogsbody at the desk during business hours in order to bring in more guests, rather than using their time trying to improve a single guest's satisfaction.
it depends on the number of dogsbodies, if he has 4, gives him 2h to work his guests between guest arrivals, but when we have 5 and guests arrive on a hourly basis then guest service isnt an option except after expedient hours, i found myself unable to properly use them in my previous game and the points used to improve it where wasted...
Its a marginal boost, you cannot really use it to make money without upgrading both the speed and the cost, and if you cannot do it before midnight its a likely money loser.
It has its uses, but they are more situational. You need to get a VIP to 10 satisfaction, you need to complete a 10 satisfaction quest, you need to get a pissed guest up enough so they do not trash the room, or your in-game 'midnight' is 5 PM, so you cannot be online for those last 3-4 guests anyway (This is me, sadly
)
Oh right thanks for clearing that up guys.
