So here is the rundown ladies and gentlemen, of the first of the 4vs4 IDT Tournaments...

This new format threw up some interesting matches and some VERY interesting results... and a NEW IDT CHAMPION! With a few former champions and some new faces in the last 16, this was going to be anything but a foregone conclusion. Established tacticians facing off against unpredictable opponents always makes for exciting matches!

Toonboy, as some of you may have noticed, has been regularly featuring in the later stages of the IDT of late, and some would say that it was only a matter of time before the title, the zen medal, the napodinoz and the prestige found their way into this master's possession. Toonboy defeated Marion who was full of confidence after beating the reknowned HugoMVP. Toonboy then bested RafaelSS to set up a final clash with Martock, who didn't have things easy either, with tough matches against Smosky911 and the always dangerous Gunjab4.

Other battles which got the team talking were IDT IV Champion Druid2K vs RafaelSS. RafaelSS really took the fight to Druid2K and the result speaks for itself. Also, mohnkahn vs trukkerdonge put two masters together who are both more than capable of winning the IDT and on this occasion it was mohnkahn who progressed to the semi-final.

We asked Toonboy about the recipe for success in the IDT:

"I was a little restricted in picking my Dojo-Fighter, because I have not so many good dinoz. And I was not in dojo tournament since a long time.
This time was not allowed to use items, so I wanted 4 poison-immune dinoz first.
The problem was my slow speed then. (as said, I have not many to choose from)
So I took 3 poison-immune ones: a Demon-Winks(glad to have it), Rocky (standard) and a Softpig (also good counter/passive damage) + I preferred a non-poison-immune Winks instead of my Kabuki (way better attacker).
The rest my Dinoz did alone.
